ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)

Sensors monitor the rotation of all three wheels. If any of the wheels is at risk of locking, ABS reduces brake pressure on it. This intervention repeats in rapid succession and can be performed independently on each wheel, allowing for maximum braking performance.

TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM (TCS )

If the Traction Control System detects excessive rear wheel spin (e.g., in slippery conditions), it works to let the Can-Am Spyder accelerate without requiring the rider to make a lot of corrective manoeuvres. The Traction Control System accomplishes this by regulating engine ignition and fuel injection, which reduces engine torque. The result is a more confident ride.

STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM (SCS)

The stability control assesses your intended direction via the handlebar and determines the vehicle's appropriate response. The system individually applies the brakes to the wheels and/or reduces excess engine torque until control is regained.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

No clutch lever. No foot shifter. The semi-automatic transmission uses paddle shifting, like sports cars do, for quicker, smoother shifts. Simply apply pressure with your left thumb to shift up and use your forefinger to downshift. Available in 5-speed and the NEW 6-speed transmission. (Spyder RT. models only). A manual transmission is also available.

DYNAMIC POWER STEERING

The electronically controlled power steering system provides the rider with a varying amount of assistance, depending on the speed of the vehicle. So it's always easy to manoeuvre and steer, no matter what type of rider you are.

REVERSE

True transmission-based reverse provides increased manoeuvrability and more complete control.

CRUISE CONTROL

Simple, one-handed operation and quick engagement allows you to set a comfortable pace, then sit back and enjoy the scenery. Available on all Spyder RT and all "S" and "Limited" packages.
